First Place Winner: Mussi Hecht (Lubavitch Girls High School) for her essay “Halakhic Directives as Regards to Jewish Soldiers Fighting in War,” and Leah Gitty Rand (Bais Yaakov High School of Chicago) for “Redeeming Captives.”

Second Place Winners: Nava Dreytser (Ida Crown Jewish Academy) for her essay “Achdus Post October 7,” and Ella Kakon (ICJA) for her essay, “Paying Ransom to Redeem Captives.”
